Good Ol’Eddie
May 2022The film portrays the owner of a small corner shop in Finsbury Park, London, called Eddie. The two of us talk about his shop and how he got it up and running.
I wanted to make it personal, asking him about his past and this helped me build a closer relationship with him.
The camera movements are unstable and chaotic, as is the area and surroundings of the shop, people coming and going, and so on.
The film was shot in 4:3 format and encapsulated in a rounded frame in a 2.40:1 (12:5) ultra-wide format; colour correction gave the film a retro and vintage feel.
